“ Staff was very helpful, polite and welcoming. My first visit I got the Korean sweet and spicy smoked wings and Brunswick stew. The flavors were great, the accompanying sauce was decent but I preferred the excess wing sauce in the bottom of my container. This place is pretty much take out only but does have high tops for standing dining which is my only complaint. It would be nice if there were barstools added around the table for a quick non server assisted meal but I’m sure the reasoning for no chairs will be pointed out to me in the comments. Overall great meal and nice staff.....I’ll be back to explore more of the menu! ”
“ So I have been meaning to send this review for a while. I was visiting from Houston and was in the area for family and pleasure. I came upon a recommendation of heirlooms Bbq and being from Houston tx I definitely needed my fix. I no doubt have to say this may be my favorite BBQ experience. I wasn’t expecting a window service stand up place but once I got the service I got and o by the food that I got, I was on another planet. Totally impressed. The brisket was excellent with the perfect amount of Bark.... I also had pulled pork because I was in Georgia and it definitely was solid!! All the sauces they office and I had we excellent and original! No doubt, being from Houston the bbq is great but we have a huge Korean population and I had to try the Kim chi slaw and it was 100% ledgit! They know what they’re doing.! But I don’t know who rates places on their bbq beans but I’m gunna have to say the beans were without a question the best iv ever had, by far! I wish I had more room in my gut for more but I know they will be around the next time I’m in the area so I’m not worried about it. This place is so good! No doubt! Won’t be let down on the food quality and portions!! I’ll be back! The owner was very nice to me when I complemented her on the menu, she game my guest and I a souvenir we will hold on to! ”
“ My son found this place and we stopped in to grab a bite and we were not disappointed at all! The place is small and you eat on the patio, standing tables only. The day was cold but they have heaters. We ordered tacos, wings, brisket, spare ribs, pork rinds, and kimchi slaw. The wings were excellent and both of my adult children went at them hard, the spare ribs and the brisket were just as good. All the sauces were on point! I wish I lived closer because I would be there every week. The combination of bbq and Korean flavors was incredible. ”
“ The Most Delicious BBQ!!!! Very Low Key place that once you try it will blow your mind. I have had the ribs, turkey sandwich, pork sandwich, collard greens are incredible mac & cheese is A1 the barbecue baked beans even have brisket in them so I can’t say enough this is a James Beard award winning location amongst other accolades. You will not be disappointed let me not forget their sweet potatoes so delicious. ”
“ This place was recommended by a few locals and when we arrived before opening and there was already a line we knew we were in for a treat. The BBQ, brisket, pulled chicken are all delicious as are the sides. The mac and cheese is lovely. The kimchi coleslaw is great but the star of the show to me was the green tomato kimchi. I'm a kimchi snob and this is some of the best ever. The kimchi pickles are also divine. And the kimchi mayo is perfect. This is a must stop on our trip to Atlanta now! The banana pudding is also good. Can't wait to try the tacos next trip. ”
“ O H MY GOD. The best BBQ i think I have ever had. Its a mix of classic BBQ style and Korean flavors. Not to mention also, maybe the best mac and cheese I have ever had! I always judge a BBQ place by how good their mac and cheese it, and this was literally one of the best. The shell noodles and the cheese was perfect. We came here on a Friday around 4-5pm so we beat the dinner rush and missed the lunch rush. Perfect timing, as they said they do get very busy. The chef was so nice and gave us some free BBQ sausage to try in addition to our order, delicious. Ribs, tender juicy and flavorful. I dont think ive ever had collared greens, but here they were delicious! I cannot say a bad thing about this place. Its in an unassuming portion to the right of a convenience store. Everything is all to-go, so you can eat at some tables outside which are stand up tables only. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Highly recommend to stop here in Atlanta! ”
“ You order online and there’s a standing room patio to eat outside if you’re not doing takeout. We had the brisket, turkey, and spicy pork. All were delicious but the turkey was our favorite!! Best onion rings we’ve ever had, and the kimchi mayo is just too good. Food came out super fast and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Great food and great service!!! ”

The banana pudding wasn’t too sweet—it tasted fresh and well-balanced. I will be returning. Next time I will buy more pork rinds to take home. ”
